Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

This treatment uses Botulinum Toxin A to relax facial muscles and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Common treatment areas include frown lines (glabella complex), forehead lines, crow’s feet (lateral canthal lines), eyebrow lift, lip flip and DAOs (downturned mouth). This treatment can also address concerns like mentalis dysfunction (dimpled chin), a gummy smile and platysmal bands (neck bands).
Key: This aesthetic treatment was previously known as ‘anti-wrinkle injections'.

Bio Remodelling

Bio-remodelling is a subtle cosmetic injectables treatment achieved by injecting two different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid (HA) in very high doses under the skin. Unlike volume restoration, bio-remodelling focuses on restructuring the skin, triggering collagen and elastin production to enhance skin quality, reduce skin laxity, and combat the effects of ageing. Bio-remodelling typically requires at least two treatments, four weeks apart, lasting 6-12 months.

Dermal Filler

Dermal filler  involves injecting a prescription-only, high-quality hyaluronic acid (HA) formula into targeted areas to sculpt, volumise, or lift facial features while hydrating the skin for a fuller, more youthful appearance. Dr Katey uses different types of HA filler to yield the best results for specific areas of the face based on the patient’s aesthetic goals.

Cheek enhancements

Cheek enhancements are popular in cosmetic injectables to add volume and definition to the cheeks. A hyaluronic acid formula is injected into strategic points on the cheeks to augment their shape and contour, resulting in a fuller and more youthful appearance. Cheek enhancements can improve cheekbone definition, restore lost volume, enhance facial symmetry, improve jowls and lower face ageing.

Lip augmentation

Lip augmentation is a non-invasive cosmetic injectable procedure to enhance lip size, volume, and shape. It can also help define lip borders, improve lip symmetry, and reduce the appearance of fine lines around the mouth. Dr Katey uses a premium product for longer-lasting results and will tailor her technique to address your desired outcome.

Chin enhancement

A recessed or disproportionate chin can disrupt facial harmony and affect the face's profile. Adding volume and projection to the chin can improve facial balance and contour. By administering cosmetic injectables into strategic points along the chin, we can augment its size and shape, which can help to extend the jawline, improve the profile, and sculpt the contours of the neck.

Jawline correction

As we age, the jawbone naturally loses volume and changes shape, while the skin loses elasticity. Jawline correction is a transformative non-surgical procedure to enhance facial contours by sharpening and defining the jawline. By injecting a specially formulated hyaluronic acid along the jaw, we can create a straighter and more sculpted jawline, improve facial proportions and refine the profile. Jawline treatment can also help reduce the appearance of jowls. Jowl treatment often involves several different modalities to achieve the best outcome.

Eye rejuvenation

Tear trough correction is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure to address hollowing, under-eye bags or dark circles beneath the eyes, resulting in a more refreshed and rejuvenated appearance. Dr Katey uses the only TGA-approved hyaluronic acid filler in Australia specifically designed for the tear trough to smooth out the skin and add volume under the eyes. Combine this treatment with cheek enhancement to achieve a full mid-face rejuvenation. Dr Katey will advise you on whether this treatment is suitable for you.

Tear trough correction will not tighten the skin. Other treatments, such as PRP, will help you achieve this.

Nasolabial fold and marionette line correction

Nasolabial folds and marionette lines are common signs of ageing. Dr Katey provides a non-surgical solution through cosmetic injectables treatment to soften lines and restore a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance, adding volume to lift and smooth the skin. For best results, Dr Katey may recommend this treatment in conjunction with bio-remodelling and mid-face volume restoration.

How does Dermal Filler work?

The volumising formula primarily consists of hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring sugar molecule in our skin that provides plumpness, elasticity, and hydration. Hyaluronic acid attracts and retains water to restore skin volume, hydration and youthfulness, addressing concerns like wrinkles, fine lines, and facial volume loss.
What are the risks?
Most cosmetic procedures come with minimal risk. While you may experience a little discomfort, the side effects are temporary. They typically include swelling, bruising, and redness at the injection site. Most patients can resume daily activities immediately after treatment.
In extremely rare cases, serious risks may include an allergic reaction or blood vessel blockage, which can cause blindness, granuloma and nodule formation, infection or inflammatory reaction. Volume restoration treatments are reversible through the use of a product called Hyaluronidase.
